Royal Parks of London

Urban areas are about 7.5 million people in London, and almost as many again in the vicinity are generally considered to be a place you will find plenty of open spaces. As the most populous city in the European Union, you may think that it will use all available space of the house people. London’s Royal Parks, but the historic 5000-hectare park offers unique opportunities for fun. While many parks in London and the Royal parks in the area are significant and the highest point average.

Royal Park, Hyde Park, is the most famous and one of the largest in central London. The other Royal Parks, Bushy Park in London in the borough of Richmond upon Thames. 1,100 acres, which is the second largest Royal Park. A little further from downtown, but wild animals such as Red Deer, it looks like another in the countryside. Bushy Park is home to the National Physical Laboratory, Royal paddocks and Hairy House. D-Day landing is planned here at Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Forces in World War II site, ice hockey and was here in 1800.

Green Park, Green Park, or, depending on who you ask, is centrally located near Hyde Park and is water features. Originally a swampy burial ground for lepers in the hospital of St. James’s to 16 century. Order now consists of green areas, in conjunction with Hyde Park, White Hall, and runs in Notting Hill. It is mainly forested meadows, and supports the wild animals and birds that are usually found in urban environments. Park is a retreat from the city activities such as sunbathing and picnics when the weather permits. Walking and jogging paths are popular Green Park.

Greenwich Park is one of the largest contiguous green space in southwest London. One of only 830 UNESCO world heritage sites in the world, Royal Park, Greenwich Park is another area previously used for hunting. World Heritage listed body of the 21 countries for a very important site, natural and cultural, that must be protected. The Royal Observatory is located here and the mountains offer breathtaking views of the River Thames, Isle of Dogs and City of London. Deer hunting was introduced by Henry VIII, and a small staff there to this day.

Regent Park is partially located in Westminster, and part of Camden. Park consists of 487 acres in open space. Regents Canal and the second lake is home to water birds, including the place where herons breed. Other services in the London Zoo in the park, Open Air Stage, and the Royal Botanical Society. The park is a wide range of sports facilities, including boating, tennis, cricket, softball, players, football, hockey, Ultimate Frisbee, and rugby. Royal Park near the five other Royal Parks in central London, which seems to be one continuous park.

Richmond Park are not included and is the largest Royal Park in London, 2360 acres. Wild animal is red deer, fallow deer, rabbits and squirrels. Richmond Park to protect the SSSI status (number of Special Scientific Interest). The park is in the background at least two films. “Anne of the Thousand Days” was shot here in 1969. It consists of “Billy Elliot” is filmed in Richmond Park.

St James Park is only about 58 hectares of land, the oldest royal park in London. The park is located in Westminster. Beginning with the reign of James I in 1603, the park open-air zoo. Camels, elephants, crocodiles and exotic birds in the park is full. None of these species has evolved, however, wild elephants and crocodiles, and observation is extremely rare in the park.
